Clear the Cache in Your Browser

Perform the following procedure to delete the cache files and information stored in your web browser:

Internet Explorer

Follow these steps to delete the files and information that Internet Explorer stores on your computer.

IE8

1.     Select Start > Control Panel.

2.     In the Control Panel select Network and Sharing Center, then select Internet Options.

3.     Select Safety, then select Delete Browsing History.

4.     In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, mark the Temporary Internet Files checkbox.

5.     Select Delete and then select OK.

IE9

1.     Select Start > Control Panel.

2.     In the Control Panel select Network and Sharing Center, then select Internet Options.

3.     On the General tab, select Delete in the Browsing History section.

4.     In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, mark the Temporary Internet Files checkbox.

5.     Select Delete and then select OK.


IE10

1.     Select Start > Control Panel.

2.     In the Control Panel select Network and Sharing Center, then select Internet Options.

3.     On the General tab, select Delete in the Browsing History section.

4.     In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, mark the Temporary Internet Files checkbox.

5.     Select Delete.

IE11

1.     Select Start > Control Panel.

2.     In the Control Panel select Network and Sharing Center, then select Internet Options.

3.     On the General tab, select Delete in the Browsing History section.

4.     In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, mark the Temporary Internet Files checkbox.

5.     Select Delete.

Mozilla Firefox

Follow these steps to delete the files and information that Firefox stores on your computer.

1.     In the Firefox toolbar, expand the menu and select Options.

2.     Select the Advanced panel.

3.     Select the Network tab.

4.     In the Cached Web Content section, select Clear Now.

5.     Select OK to close the Options window.

Safari

Follow these steps to delete the files and information that Safari stores on your computer.

1.     In the Safari toolbar, select Edit then Empty Cache.

2.     Select Empty.

If the toolbar does not display, select Show Menu Bar from the Safari menu.

Chrome

Follow these steps to delete the files and information that Chrome stores on your computer.

1.     Select on the browser toolbar to access the Chrome menu.

2.     Select More Tools, Clear Browsing Data.

3.     In the Clear Browsing Data dialog box, select the Cached Images and Files checkbox.

4.     Select Clear Browsing Data.

Android Browser

Follow these steps to delete the files and information that the Android browser stores on your device.

1.     From the Home screen, tap the Applications icon.

2.     Tap Browser to open the default browser.

3.     Tap to access the menu.

4.     Tap Settings.

5.     Tap Privacy and Security.

6.     Tap Clear Cache.

7.     Tap OK.

Safari - iPad

Follow these steps to delete the files and information that Safari stores on your iPad.

1.     Tap the Settings app.

2.     In the Settings  column, tap Safari.

3.     Tap Clear Cache in the same section as Clear History and Clear Cookies and Data.

4.     Tap Clear.
