Enhanced Column Filters                                                                                    

Use the enhanced filters to help manage large amounts of project data in Info Exchange logs. Enhanced filters are also available for individual items in their tabbed views for objects such as: Email Log, Supporting Documents, and Related Items.

Fields with enhanced filters are indicated with the icon shown below:

Enhanced filters are not available for all fields.

Clicking on the filter icon opens the filter pop-up menu, as shown below. Each enhanced filter provides a list of options to help you build a smarter filter. For example: you are working in an action item containing numerous email messages. The subject of the email you seek starts with the word project. Basic filtering checks the entire subject in the attached email for the word project, potentially returning a large set of results. This can be problematic when the email has a long subject. Instead, use the enhanced filter Begins With, then enter the word project in the Subject field.

In some instances, the enhanced filtering function provides you with a drop-down list of possible filter values based on the existing values in the column, as shown below. Select the appropriate filter value to narrow the list of results.
