Global Keywords

Global keywords are keywords you can apply to items throughout Info Exchange. They are organized in lists that are used throughout Project Center projects. Administrators create the lists, which are then available for users to apply to individual project items such as RFIs, submittals, action items, etc. This allows for flexibility to add unique values that are relevant to your firm to help you track key project information.

Pages and dialog boxes throughout Info Exchange display keyword lists. Examples of global keyword lists include: Discipline, Spec Section, Status, and Keywords. As shown below, the Action Item page uses several fields that retrieve data from global keyword lists:

Creating Global Keyword Lists

Project Center administrators can create new global keyword lists, configure their settings, and assign them to the activity centers of projects. Depending on the settings made there, users can either select keywords to add to project items, or if it is enabled, they can enter their own keywords in addition to selecting keywords from a list.
