Tool Style dialog box

Use this dialog box to either customize the style for the pen selected in the Markup Tools panel of the Newforma Viewer, or to change the properties of a markup object.

If you are changing the properties of a markup object directly, the pen styles are not affected.

Line and Pencil Properties

Color

Select the pen's color from the drop-down list.

Weight

Select the line weight from the drop-down list.

Line Type

Select the line style from the drop-down list.

Leader Style

Select the leaders with which to start and end lines from the drop-down list.

Dimension Style

Select the leaders with which to start and end dimensions from the drop-down list.

Transparency

Move the slider to set the pen's transparency. Slide left to make the pen more solid; slide right to make it more transparent.

Fill Properties

Apply Fill to Shapes

Mark the checkbox to apply the Fill Color and Fill Transparency settings to markup objects.

Color

Select the object fill color from the drop-down list.

Transparency

Move the slider to set the object fill's transparency. Slide left to make the fill more solid; slide right to make it more transparent.

Font Properties

Color/Font/Size

Select the text color, font, and size from the drop-down lists.

 

To access this dialog box

You can access this dialog box in the following ways:

• Double-click any of the pens from the Markup Tools panel.

• Right-click on a markup object and select Properties.
