Drag and Drop to Project File Transfer Site dialog box

Use this dialog box to drag and drop files to the location that opens when you transfer files to a drag and drop location. Select the icon, then drag and drop it to the drag/drop site.

You can add new drag and drop locations using the Drag Drop Transfer Method dialog box.

For example, if Microsoft Word is designated as the drag and drop location, it will open when you initiate the file transfer. Drag and drop the icon from this dialog box into Microsoft Word.

Close

Mark the checkbox and click Close to close this dialog box and notify the recipients that the file has been transferred to the drag and drop location.

A transmittal is included when you drag the icon. If you mark the checkbox, a transmittal is sent in the email notification.

 

To access this dialog box

You can access this dialog box in the following ways:

  • Choose Yes, Fill Out and Record a Project Transmittal from the Transfer Files to Info Exchange dialog box, then click Create and Transfer from the Transfer Files and Create an Outgoing Transmittal dialog box when Resend Contents > Via Drag/Drop Location or Forward Contents > Via Drag/Drop Location is selected as the transfer method in the Project Transmittals activity center.

  • Click Create and Transfer from the Create an Outgoing Transmittal dialog box when a drag and drop location is selected in the Send Via field.

  • Click Transfer from the Transfer Files to a Project Drag Drop Site dialog box when Resend Contents > Via Drag/Drop Location or Forward Contents > Via Drag/Drop Location is selected as the transfer method in the Project Transmittals activity center.

  • Choose Yes, Fill Out and Record a Project Transmittal from the Transfer Files to Info Exchange dialog box, then click Create and Transfer from the Transfer Files and Create an Outgoing Transmittal dialog box when Forward  > Via Drag/Drop Location or Resend > Via Drag/Drop Location is selected as the transfer method in the Info Exchange activity center.
