Punch List Descriptions dialog box

Use this dialog box to add and edit punch list descriptions.

Filter All Columns

You can filter by any text that appears in any of the columns. For example, if you know the element (or part of the element) of the description that you are searching for, enter at least part of the text in this field. The list updates automatically as you type. For example, if the description you are searching for has the letter j somewhere in one of the columns, enter j in this field. The list will be narrowed down to only descriptions that have the letter j somewhere in one of the columns.

 

Click to toggle between showing and hiding the column filter fields.

Clear

Click to clear all filters.

 

Element

The name of the punch list element.

Description

The description of the punch list element.

 

Add

Click to open the Add Punch List Description dialog box to add a new punch list description.

Modify

Click to open the Edit Punch List Description dialog box to edit a punch list description.

Remove

Click to remove the selected punch list description.

Import

Click to open the Select Spreadsheet dialog box to select a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet containing punch list descriptions that you want to import.

Export

Click to open the Save Spreadsheet dialog box to select the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to export the project's punch list descriptions to.

 

To access this dialog box

Click Manage Punch List Item Descriptions from the Tasks panel Punch List activity center
