Secondary Files dialog box

Use this dialog to check secondary documents of complex documents into FileNet.

When checking in a new version of a complex document, you are required to take action on all of the secondary files  from the last check-in. You can retain files (copy them forward), remove them, or replace them with a local file. You can also add new secondary files. Items in red need to be addressed - you will not be able to submit your check-in if any secondary files from the previous check in still require action.

Name

The name of the secondary file.

Size

The size of the file.

Action

The action taken or required. Added/updated files will show the local file path in this column.

Retain

Click to retain the selected files.

Replace

Click to replace the selected files.

Add File

Click to locate and add new secondary files.

Remove

Click to remove the selected files.

To access this dialog box

Click the button from the Check In Document dialog box.
