Can Non-Bluebeam Session Owners Log Responses for Submittals and RFIs?

When Bluebeam is being used to review submittals or RFIs, it is possible for someone other than the Bluebeam session owner to log a Review Response or perform a Close action.

The following conditions must be met:

●        The user has the Bluebeam Studio option enabled at the user level

●        The user is a Bluebeam licensed user (has a Bluebeam login)

●        The user was forwarded the submittal or RFI for review (they were invited to the session)

●        The user has the Contract Management role

●        The user is on the project team for the project containing the submittal or RFI

●        The user is in the To: field for the submittal or RFI

 

When the above conditions are met, all users who meet the criteria will be given full control of the Bluebeam session sa part of the Bluebeam invitation that is sent out when a submittal or RFI is forwarded for review.

●        These users will be listed in Bluebeam Revu session settings with the Full Control permission.

●        These users will have their session status listed as Joined in the Record Review Response remarks.
